Common questions
Do I need to create an account?
No. StreamTonight has zero account creation. You install the app, pick the streaming services you subscribe to, and you're done. We don't track you across devices because we don't know who "you" are.
Which streaming services do you support?
Currently Netflix, Max, Hulu, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV+, Peacock, Paramount+, Starz, AMC+, and MGM+. We pick services that have a meaningful nightly drop schedule — adding more as the catalog warrants it.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On iOS: Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription opens iOS's native subscription management. On Android: Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription opens Play Store subscription management. Apple and Google handle the actual cancellation.
What if my notifications stop arriving?
Settings → Notifications has a status row that tells you whether daily-summary push is wired up to actually deliver. Color-coded green when working, yellow/red with a one-tap "Open Settings" shortcut when something's off (master toggle disabled, channel silenced, OS permission revoked).
Do you collect my viewing data?
No. We don't have a way to know what you actually watch — we don't integrate with any streaming service's API, and we don't run analytics SDKs in the app. The only thing we store on the server is which services you've selected (so we can filter the nightly list) and your favorite show list (so we can tell you when episodes drop). Read the full privacy policy for specifics.
Is there a web version?
Not yet — StreamTonight is iPhone and Android only for now. The native push-notification model is core to how the product works, and that doesn't translate cleanly to a browser without account creation. If web demand is loud enough we'll reconsider.
Who built this?
One person — Matthew Mason, an indie developer in Bremerton, WA. More about the project.
